15 second timer

A fifteen second timer with a sound at the end. Fifteen seconds is a short working interval and a short rest: long enough to hold something, short enough that you feel it.

How it works

  1. Tap Start and follow the ring.
  2. Common uses: the rest half of a 45/15 interval, a held stretch, or a clip you are timing.
  3. A tone marks the end so you do not have to watch the screen.
  4. For repeated rounds rather than one countdown, use the interval timer instead.

Frequently asked questions

What is a fifteen second timer for?
Two things mostly. It is the rest half of the common 45 on, 15 off circuit format, and it is a short hold: a stretch, a plank for someone starting out, or a breath you are pacing.
Should I use a timer or an interval timer?
This page counts down once. If you want fifteen seconds to repeat with a work period in between, an interval timer does that without you restarting it each round.
Does the timer keep running if I switch tabs?
In the browser this tab has to stay open. On your phone NanoTimer keeps running in the background, with a notification and a Live Activity on the lock screen.
