How it works
- Tap Start or press the space bar to begin.
- Press L or the lap button to record a split.
- Space pauses and resumes, R resets the stopwatch to zero.
- The fastest lap is teal, the slowest is red.
Frequently asked questions
- Does the stopwatch measure hundredths?
- Yes, up to an hour it shows minutes, seconds and hundredths. After that it switches to hours.
- Does the time stay correct when the tab is in the background?
- Yes. The stopwatch is anchored to the clock, so background throttling does not affect the total.
- Are there keyboard shortcuts?
- Space starts and pauses, L records a lap, R resets. They do not fire while you are typing in a field.
