How it works

  1. By default the timer is set to 3 minutes work, 1 minute rest, 12 rounds.
  2. For amateur boxing the round is often 2 minutes.
  3. Tap Start. Orange is the round, teal is the corner.
  4. The last three seconds of each round beep down.

Frequently asked questions

How long is a boxing round?
Professionally a round is usually 3 minutes with 1 minute rest; many amateur bouts use 2 or 3 minutes. Set the times the way your gym runs them.
Does the app have a dedicated boxing mode?
No, and we will not claim one. NanoTimer has an interval timer that does exactly this: rounds with work and rest, with spoken cues and a bell-like beep.
Does this work on the bag without looking at my phone?
In the app it does: rounds are spoken out loud and your music only ducks briefly. Open the interval timer with the button above.
