How it works
- Start the stopwatch. Finish all 100 pull-ups before moving to the push-ups, and so on.
- Stop the clock on the hundredth air squat.
- Pick a set size you can repeat a hundred times over, not one that feels good for the first twenty reps.
- Small consistent sets with short rests beat big sets and long recoveries, every time.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I have to do the movements in that order?
- Yes, that is what makes it Angie. The order front-loads the hardest movement while you are fresh, which is why the pull-ups take most people close to half of the total time.
- How do I scale 100 pull-ups?
- Bands, jumping pull-ups, or simply a lower count such as 50. A reduced count is often the better scaling: it keeps the workout to a sensible length rather than turning it into a forty minute grind on the bar.
- Is there a time cap?
- The cap on this page is a common working limit, not an official rule. Most benchmark workouts have no prescribed cap; a cap exists so a class ends on time and so you have a number to beat.
